If you wish to spend your holidays on Europe’s largest beaches with incredibly fine sand and you want to capture unforgettable memories, then Algarve is the perfect holiday destination for relaxation.
You will find in Algarve impressive rocks, golden beaches, laced bays and sandy islands. Excepting the sun and the sand, Algarve can be considered as the region where you will encounter the most colorful nightlife, with plenty of beach bars (and discos), castles (both sand and real), diving , lots of entertainment and fun. You will want to come back here in your next holiday, because there are always new places to discover.
Algarve is a “drop in the ocean” for any visitor. Gorgeous towns, narrow streets, castles and historic villages, a renowned cork region, where local craftsmen make everything, but also hills covered with flowers, hiking trails along the coast and plenty of sunshine.
Try other fairytale destinations in Europe!
In fact, a lot of sun! Because Algarve is located in the southern region of Portugal, and here the weather is good for beach and bath in the ocean for more than 6 months a year. The places are visited especially by Germans and French people.
I am sure I will return to Portugal and I will choose again Algarve because it is a lively resort during summer, but it is also a great location for walking in the autumn months! Try the quieter way of life in Algarve during the extra-season – the sun always shines here, and Albufeira welcomes you! Locals are particularly hospitable and you will bind friendships for life.
I invite you to watch a fairytale to Algarve, where I captured at least a part of the beauty of this region with holiday recommendations and the best places to visit here.
What about other fairytale destinations in Europe?
Because in Algarve the stories begin at sunrise and are finished the next day at dawn.
See you soon with other destinations in Algarve! 🙂
